How can a spot be removed?

If you get a spot on your garnment, pour water on it to remove it but don't rub it. The fabric's resistance to spots works for all liquids (wine, coffee, sauces).

 

Is it as efficient for dark spots like chocolate?
As long as the spot is liquid it can be rinsed with water, no matter what colour it is.


What happens when the spot isn't liquid?

If the spot isn't liquid, there is no guarantee that the fabric's patented qualities will work. However, spots caused by semi-liquids such as ketchup, honey or chocolate can generally be removed by pouring a lot of water on them.

Does the fabric prevent the wearer from perspiring?

No, the fabric does not react on your body. However, it helps liit sweat rings and odors.

Can I wear a garment in  INDUO® fabric to go to work on a bicycle?

INDUO® fabric was conceived for everyday garments. It cannot replace a sport T-shirt.

Will sweat rings form?

The fabric is breathable, it strongly dimishes rings, outside of specific medical situations or extreme canditions. If a ring does form it can rapidly disappear without leaving an odor if you go to a cool, dry place.

What about odors?

Perspiration odors don't come from sweat but from bacteria. There develop when perspiration stagnates. INDUO® prevents perspiration from being absorbed and stored in the fabric's fibers. Thus, you will avoid unpleasant odors.
 

What is “breathability” and how does it work?

Does the fabric keep you warm?

INDUO® fabric will not keep your warmer than a traditional cotton fabric.

Does the fabric have a specific look or hand? 

Clients who've tested an INDUO® fabric are surprised by its softness and comfort. Our studies show that its hand is similar to those of the best fabrics on the market.

Is the fabric transparent?

INDUO® fabric has good opacity. There's no need to wear an undershirt underneath it. However, that depends on each person's preferences.

Does the fabric present a health or environmental risk?

All products used in making the fabric and all manufacturing procedures are REACh (the European Union standard), Oeko-Tex and BCI certified. The objectives of this standard is to protect consumers from health and environmental risks.

Does the fabric have any allergic or dermatological risks?

All the molecules we use are known, authorized and have been used for a long time in the military and medical fields. To our knowledge, our fabric has never caused an allergic or dermatological reaction.

Is the INDUO® fabric certified?

All products used to make the fabric as well as the manufacturing procedures are certified REACh, Oeko-Tex and BCI.

What happens if the client is not satisfied with the technical performance of the fabric?

If the final client is not satisfied with the technical performance of the fabric, we put in place a guarantee so that he/ she can enter in direct contact with INDUO®.

Do you have a Code of Ethics, especially regarding employees?

Our suppliers are ISO 9001 certified and this certification includes an “employee” section.

Can I put my INDUO® fabric garment in the washing machine?

Yes, in a standard washing program at 40°C maximum.

Can I have my INDUO® fabric garment dry-cleaned?

Yes, you can have your INDUO® fabric garment dry-cleaned since it won't damage the fabric.

Does INDUO®fabric lose its properties after a certain number of machine washings?

The fabric's properties react like a fabric dye: they lose some intensity over time but their wualities remain as long as you follow the care instructions.

What cleaning products can I use on the garnment ?

We recommend not using bleach, stain-removers or whitening products (detergents, powders, wipes). Since INDUO® is resistant to stains, they shouldn't be needed.

What happens if a client doesn't follow the care instructions and uses bleach or stain remover on the garment?

The garment can resist bleach and stain removers but they will damage the fibers so the fabric's performance may decrease over time.

How can I dry my INDUO® fabric garment?

INDUO® fabric dries quickly. We suggest that you put your garment on a hanger when you take it out of the machine. This will make it easy to iron.

Can I put my INDUO® fabric garment in the dryer?

Do not put. Dryers damage textiles and can reduce the INDUO® fabric's performance.

What happens if a client doesn't follow the care instructions and puts the garment in the dryer?
The garment can withstand the dryer but since it damages the fibers, the fabric's performance may be reduced over time.

Can I iron my INDUO® fabric garment?

We suggest you iron your garment:

- At the maximum temperature if it is made in 100% cotton

- At a moderate temperature (maximum 150° indicated by 2 points on the iron dial) if it is 98% cotton and 2% elastane (stretch cotton).

How can I iron my INDUO® fabric garment?

To make ironing easier, we suggest that you generously make ironing easier, we suggest that you generously spray water on the fabric before ironing it.

Is the fabric “no-iron”?

The fabric has to be be ironed to look crisp but this step is easier when water is sprayed on the garment.

Does the fabric have any qualities that must be considered for its manufacturing?

No, the fabric reacts normally and has no specific restrictions.

Do different colors affect the fabric’s properties?

No, the fabric’s color doesn’t modify its performance.

What colors can be produced?

Any colors and weaves used in yarn-dyes can be made: solids, stripes and checks. However the fabric cannot be printed (example: a floral motif). This would mean dyeing the finished fabric but its spot-resistant qualities don’t work for this procedure.

Is the fabric pre-shrunk?

Yes, the fabric is pre-shrunk.

Why is the fabric pre-shrunk?

All garments shrink in the first washing. The most meticulous textile suppliers pre-shrink their fabrics to limit this problem.

Where does the fabric come from?

Our fabric is made in India.

Can I get a sample of the fabric?

We send samples to professionals who order them in the “shop” heading on our site.

How can I test the fabric?

The best way is to manufacture one piece (for example: a shirt) and wear it. For this reason, we suggest that you order a 2-meter cut of fabric.
